About me

I am a PhD student at the University of Cambridge, supervised by Po-Ling Loh. In 2024, I finished Part III in mathematics at Cambridge, focusing on statistical learning theory and applications. Before that, from 2020 to 2023, I completed my undergraduate degree in mathematics at Imperial College London. I am originally from Oradea, Romania. I work at the intersection of statistics and computer science. My research focuses on algorithmic stability and its connections to optimization, network inference, and machine learning. I am particularly interested in differential privacy and robust statistics, including robustness to adversarial contamination and heavy-tailed data. Specifically, I develop broadly applicable, polynomial-time algorithms and estimation methods with provable stability and utility guarantees.
